Idea partnered with Watson Wyatt Worldwide to assess the Federal Reserve Banks’ (FRB) Human Resources IT objectives, and to recommend people, process, and technology improvements to cost-effectively meet business needs.
We performed “As-Is” and “To-Be” assessments by conducting interviews to determine the degree to which the existing IT platform satisfied business needs. We reviewed business and technical documents, and created a comprehensive gap analysis. The gap analysis included an assessment of the FRB’s results against similar organizations and provided a target future state. Idea also developed several IT platform options, an all-in costing model, and a final platform recommendation. We also provided prioritized processes and improved governance principles.
The customer was extremely pleased with the assessment and our recommendations, which were unanimously approved by all 12 FRB Vice Presidents.
